Fix broken embeds without touching a single post
Broken embeds mean blank boxes, bounced visitors and dead posts. XplayTube Video Fixer finds the XVideos and XNXX iframes on your posts and replaces them with a clean Video.js player that plays the video directly. It runs on your own site, so there’s no re-importing and no editing of old posts.

- Plays the real video source (HLS first, then High/Low MP4), so videos start instead of showing a dead frame.
- Safe fallback: if a video can’t be resolved, your original embed stays exactly as it was.
- Optional VAST pre-roll using the ad tag(s) already set in the Xplay theme. It has a large skip button, and if the ad is slow to start, the video plays anyway.
- Active subscribers don’t see ads, when your Xplay subscription functions are present.
- Your logo and ticker overlays carry over from the theme, so fixed videos match the rest of your player.
- Results are cached, so pages stay fast.
- Picks up players added later by AJAX or infinite scroll.
- Simple settings: tick XVideos, XNXX, or both, plus one pre-roll switch.

Made for the Xplay theme
The player styling, overlays and ad tag all come from your Xplay theme settings. The plugin runs on other themes too, but styling is basic and there’s no ad tag to play.

Installation
Upload the zip under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, activate it, and open Settings → XplayTube Video Fixer. Deactivate any older clean-player or player-addon plugins first so they don’t compete for the same embeds.
